Article 1 (Purpose)

This Policy sets out the matters that participants must observe for their own safety and for the smooth operation of the Program.

Article 2 (Compliance with the Schedule)

1. Participants must observe the announced assembly time and location for each day of the schedule.
2. Day 1 assembly: Arrive at Arpina by 11:00 on Monday
3. Day 5 dismissal: After the completion ceremony ends at 14:00 on Friday
4. No refund is given for portions of the Program missed due to lateness or absence.

Article 2-2 (Advance Preparation)

1. The Company conducts an online Korean language level test before the Program begins and assigns participants to classes by level based on the results.
2. Not taking the level test does not disadvantage a participant's participation in the Program. However, in that case the participant is not reflected in the level-based class assignment, and this may make the Korean language classes harder to follow.

Article 3 (Free Time)

1. The following time periods are free time not included in the Program and fall outside the Company's supervision:
   1. Day 1: after 17:30
   2. Days 2 and 3: after 18:00
   3. Day 4: after 21:00
2. The Company is not liable for accidents occurring during free time, except where they arise from the intent or negligence of the Company or its personnel.
3. The Company will explain safety rules and the emergency contact system for free time during orientation and will distribute them in writing.

Article 4 (Special Provisions for Minors)

1. During free time, responsibility for supervising a participant under the age of 18 rests entirely with the accompanying guardian.
2. Participants under the age of 18 are prohibited from going out alone. A guardian must always accompany them when going out.
3. Participants under the age of 18 must return to the accommodation by 21:00 (9:00 PM).
4. Further details are governed by the "Minor Participation Policy."

Article 5 (Compliance with Safety Instructions)

1. Participants must follow the safety instructions of tour leaders and instructors.
2. A safety briefing is conducted before each class begins; safety notices are provided in both Korean and English, and safety cards in the participant's language are distributed.
3. Life jackets must be worn at all times during the Day 4 yacht excursion, and participants must not leave the designated area while underway.

Article 6 (Health and Allergies)

1. Participants must truthfully disclose allergies and health conditions when applying.
2. The yakgwa (traditional confection) prepared in the K-Food class contains wheat and sesame. The full ingredient list is posted on the website, displayed on-site before the class begins, and announced verbally.
3. Participants may review the ingredients and decide for themselves whether to consume the item, and may choose to participate only in the preparation process without consuming it.
4. The Company is not liable for accidents arising from health conditions or allergies that a participant failed to disclose or misrepresented.
5. The Company endeavors to provide halal-friendly meals but is not a halal-certified facility and does not guarantee halal-certified meals. Meals for other religious dietary requirements are not provided.
6. Allergy and special dietary requirements are handled on the basis of what is stated at the time of application, and the Company determines the scope of what it can accommodate according to the number of requests received.

Article 7 (Use of Accommodation)

1. Arpina is a smoke-free facility throughout. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas.
2. Pets are not permitted in guest rooms.
3. Loud noise, use of open flame, and dangerous conduct are prohibited in guest rooms and common areas.
4. Participants must compensate for damage to amenities or facilities that they cause.
5. Rooms are assigned separately by gender. Mixed-gender rooms are not permitted.
6. Notwithstanding Paragraph 5, participants under the age of 18 share a room with their accompanying guardian.
7. Single-occupancy rooms are not provided; all rooms are shared by 3-4 persons.
8. Participants may request a specific roommate when applying. The Company will make every effort to accommodate such requests, but they may be adjusted according to the standard room occupancy and the Company does not guarantee that a request will be granted.

Article 8 (Alcohol)

1. Participants under the age of 19 are prohibited from consuming alcohol.
2. Even adult participants must not consume alcohol to an extent that disrupts the Program.

Article 9 (Baggage Storage)

1. The Company provides a baggage storage service on Days 1 and 5, issuing claim tags and maintaining an inventory.
2. This service is limited to general baggage. Cash, valuables, electronic devices, and passports are not accepted for storage; participants must keep such items with them personally or use the safe at the accommodation's front desk.
3. The Company is not liable for the loss or theft of items under Paragraph 2 that were not deposited with the Company, except where it arises from the intent or negligence of the Company or its personnel.

Article 10 (Photography and Publication)

1. The Company may photograph and record video during the Program.
2. Consent for the use of such photographs and videos for promotional purposes is obtained separately when applying, and declining to consent does not disadvantage the participant's participation in the Program.
3. Even when participating in the Day 5 short-video contest, if a participant does not consent to public posting, the video will be shown only in an internal screening.
4. Participants must not publicly post photographs or videos of other individuals taken during the Program without that person's consent.
5. Separate consent from the guardian is obtained regarding footage of participants under the age of 18, and the guardian may choose whether the child's face is shown when the footage is publicly posted.

Article 11 (Expulsion)

1. The Company may suspend a participant's participation and require them to leave the Program in any of the following cases:
   1. Repeated failure to follow the safety instructions of a tour leader or instructor
   2. Causing physical or verbal harm to another participant or a third party
   3. Unauthorized departure that materially disrupts the operation of the Program
   4. Violation of the prohibition on minors going out alone
   5. Committing an unlawful act
2. No refund is given for the remaining schedule upon expulsion.
3. Where a minor is expelled, the accompanying guardian is, in principle, expected to return home together with the minor.
4. Costs of accommodation, transportation, and travel home after expulsion are borne by the participant.

Article 12 (Emergencies)

1. In the event of an emergency, the Company will immediately arrange medical care and notify the emergency contact.
2. Because foreign nationals are not covered by Korea's National Health Insurance, medical costs are borne by the participant and are to be handled through travel insurance.
3. Matters concerning emergency medical treatment for minors are governed by the "Minor Participation Policy."

Article 13 (Language)

This Policy is provided in Korean and English. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation between the language versions, the Korean version will prevail.
