Article 1 (Purpose)

This Policy sets out the matters necessary for the safe participation of participants under the age of 18 in the Program.

Article 2 (Age of Participation)

1. Participants must be at least 11 years old as of the Program start date.
2. Age is calculated as of the Program start date.

Article 3 (Obligation to Be Accompanied by a Guardian)

1. A participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian participating in the same cohort.
2. The guardian must be a formal participant who has paid the Program fee.
3. A minor shares a room with their guardian. No exceptions are made.
4. Applications for a minor without an accompanying guardian will not be accepted.

Article 4 (Types of Guardian)

The guardian must fall into one of the following categories.

1. Accompanying parent: The minor's legal guardian (father or mother) accompanies the minor directly
2. Accompanying authorized guardian: An adult who has been delegated guardianship authority by the legal guardian accompanies the minor

Article 5 (Documents Required by Type of Guardian)

(1) Where a parent accompanies the minor

No separate written documents need to be submitted. Consent to this Policy is established by agreeing electronically to the consent items specified by the Company at the time of application.

Because the parent accompanies the minor for the entire duration of the Program, consent to medical treatment is given directly by the parent on-site, and no advance delegation is required.

(2) Where an authorized guardian accompanies the minor

The following documents must be submitted.

1. Legal guardian's travel consent and delegation of guardianship authority (using the form provided by the Company)
   1. A notarized original (required)
   2. Apostille or consular authentication at a Korean diplomatic mission (recommended)
   3. The delegation must include a clause delegating consent to medical treatment, specifying authority to consent to examinations, anesthesia, blood transfusion, and emergency surgery
   4. Must include a signature block for the authorized guardian's acceptance
   5. Must state a 24-hour emergency contact for the legal guardian
2. Minor accommodation consent form required by the accommodation facility (Arpina)
   1. Requires the legal guardian's signature; the Company provides the form

(3) Notes on the level of authentication

1. Notarization is mandatory; a delegation that has not been notarized will not be accepted.
2. Apostille certification or consular authentication is recommended but not required. Korean law does not require it, and the process can be significantly longer for participants from countries that are not party to the Apostille Convention.
3. Where a submission is made without an apostille, the Company will confirm the legal guardian's identity and intent to delegate through a video call and will record the date and time of that call.
4. The exit requirements of the participant's home country and the airline's unaccompanied-minor policy are the participant's own responsibility; the Company only provides guidance and does not act on the participant's behalf or guarantee compliance.

Article 6 (Document Submission Deadline and Review)

1. The deadline for applications accompanied by an authorized guardian is 45 days before the start date of the relevant cohort.
2. Notarization typically takes 1 to 5 days. Where an apostille is obtained at the same time, this takes same-day to 2 days if the applicant visits the issuing authority in person, or 2 to 4 weeks if applied for by mail. Applicants are encouraged to begin the process early.
3. The Company confirms participation only after verifying the originals of the submitted documents. The contract is not formed until the document review is complete.
4. Where documents are not submitted by the deadline or are found unsatisfactory upon review, the matter is handled in accordance with Article 4 of the "Cancellation and Refund Policy."

Article 7 (Possession of Originals)

1. The documents referred to in Article 5(2) must be carried in original form upon entry.
2. Copies may not be accepted during immigration inspection.
3. Because unaccompanied-minor (UM) policies vary by airline, applicants are encouraged to confirm directly with the airline before ticketing.

Article 8 (Guardian's Supervisory Responsibility)

1. The guardian is responsible for supervising the minor for the entire duration of the Program.
2. Responsibility for supervising a minor during free time rests entirely with the guardian.
3. The guardian must truthfully disclose to the Company the minor's health condition, allergies, and any medication being taken.

Article 9 (Going Out and Curfew)

1. Participants under the age of 18 are prohibited from going out alone.
2. A guardian must always accompany them when going out.
3. Participants under the age of 18 must return to the accommodation by 21:00 (9:00 PM).
4. A violation of this Article may result in expulsion under Article 11 of the "Program Participation Rules."

Article 10 (Adjustment of Class Participation)

1. K-Beauty class: Participants under the age of 15 follow an age-appropriate basic skincare course (cleansing, toner, lotion, and sunscreen application).
2. K-Food class: The frying process is handled by the instructor; participants take part in the dough preparation, shaping, and glazing steps.
3. Day 4 yacht excursion: Subject to the age and physical requirements set by the water-sports operator. Where a participant does not meet the requirements, an alternative activity is provided.
4. The Company may restrict a minor's participation in a specific activity where it determines this is necessary for safety.

Article 11 (Emergency Medical Care)

1. In the event of an emergency, the Company will immediately arrange medical care and notify the guardian and legal guardian.
2. Where an authorized guardian is accompanying the minor, that guardian may consent to medical treatment within the scope of the delegation under Article 5(2).
3. Even where the legal guardian cannot be reached immediately, necessary treatment may be administered where required to prevent imminent danger to life or physical safety.

Article 12 (Personal Information of Children Under 14)

1. Where the personal information of a child under the age of 14 is collected and used, the consent of the legal guardian is obtained.
2. The legal guardian may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of the child's personal information.

Article 13 (Right of Publicity)

1. Where photographs or videos of a participant under the age of 18 are used for promotional purposes, separate consent from the guardian is obtained, distinct from the consent obtained from adult participants.
2. The guardian may choose whether the child's face is shown when content is publicly posted.
3. Declining to consent does not disadvantage participation in the Program or in the short-video contest.
4. The guardian may withdraw consent at any time and request the removal of posted content.

Article 14 (Accompanying Staff)

The Company assigns a certified youth counselor for the entire duration of the Program. All instructors and staff have completed a sex offender background check.

Article 15 (Language)

This Policy is provided in Korean and English. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation between the language versions, the Korean version will prevail.
