Article 1 (Scope of Application)

This Policy applies to the cancellation and refund of the GLOBAL K-CAMPUS Program.

Article 2 (Withdrawal of Offer)

  1. In accordance with Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, a participant may withdraw their offer within 7 days from the date of receiving a written document (including an electronic document) setting out the terms of the contract. The date on which the Company sends the payment confirmation email is deemed the date the written document was received.
  2. In the case of withdrawal under Paragraph 1, the Company will refund the full payment amount, and the cancellation schedule in Article 3 does not apply. No costs of any kind are deducted.
  3. Paragraph 1 does not apply after the Program has commenced.
  4. This Article reflects a mandatory statutory provision and cannot be excluded or limited by an agreement unfavorable to the participant.

Practical note: Where a participant applies later than 45 days before departure and cancels within 7 days, the Company will refund the full amount, regardless of the refund rate under the schedule in Article 3.

Article 3 (Cancellation by the Participant)

Where a participant cancels the Program after the withdrawal period under Article 2 has expired, refunds are made according to the following schedule. The reference date is the start date of the relevant cohort.

Time of CancellationRefund Rate
Up to 45 days before the start date100%
44 to 30 days before the start date90%
29 to 15 days before the start date70%
14 to 8 days before the start date50%
7 to 2 days before the start date30%
1 day before, the day of, or no-show0%

The balance (the program fee less the deposit) is charged on-site on the first day of the Program. Accordingly, where a participant cancels before the start date, the refund rate above applies to the deposit already paid by the participant (USD 80 per participant); no charge or refund arises with respect to the balance.

Article 4 (Grounds for Full Refund)

The Company will refund the full payment amount to a participant in any of the following cases:

  1. The Company cancels the relevant cohort because the number of applicants falls below the minimum of 30 participants by the application deadline
  2. The Program is cancelled due to a cause attributable to the Company
  3. The Program cannot be carried out due to force majeure, such as a natural disaster, epidemic, war, or government measure
  4. The Company has given notice of a material schedule change under Article 8(4) of the Terms and Conditions, and the participant terminates the contract because they do not consent to the change
  5. The Company declines to accept an application

Where the Company cancels the Program, no carryover to a future cohort is offered; the full payment amount is refunded.

Article 5 (Grounds to Which the General Cancellation Schedule Applies)

Where a participant is unable to participate for any of the following reasons, the schedule in Article 3 applies. However, where the reason falls within the withdrawal period under Article 2, Article 2 prevails.

  1. K-ETA or a visa is not issued
  2. Entry into the Republic of Korea is refused
  3. Document issues attributable to the participant, such as insufficient passport validity
  4. Guardian-related documents requested by the Company are not submitted by the deadline or are found unsatisfactory upon review
  5. The participant's personal circumstances, illness, or flight delay or cancellation
  6. Participation is restricted because travel insurance was not obtained

The Company sets the general application deadline at 21 days before the start date, and, for minors accompanied by a guardian who is not their parent, 45 days before the start date, taking into account the K-ETA review period and the time needed to prepare documents. Most document-related cancellations are processed within the 100% refund period.

Article 6 (Cancellation During the Program)

  1. Where a participant returns home early or withdraws mid-program for personal reasons after the Program has started, no refund is made for the remaining schedule.
  2. No refund is made where a participant is expelled for violating the "Program Participation Rules."
  3. Where a participant is unable to continue the Program due to a confirmed case of infectious disease, the Company will determine whether and how much to refund based on the actual cost of services not provided. Non-recoverable costs already incurred, such as accommodation and instructor fees, are excluded from the refund.

Article 7 (Costs Related to Infectious Disease)

  1. Where a participant is diagnosed with an infectious disease and quarantined during the Program, accommodation and meal costs during the quarantine period and any airline ticket change fees are borne by the participant.
  2. The Company will provide necessary support, such as arranging quarantine accommodation, connecting the participant with a medical institution, providing interpretation, and contacting family members. However, the Company does not bear the associated costs.
  3. Participants are encouraged to consider obtaining insurance that covers quarantine costs.

Article 8 (Partial Cancellation Within a Group)

  1. Where some, but not all, family members or companions under the same application cancel, Article 3 applies only to the cancelling participant(s).
  2. Rooms for the remaining participants are reassigned by the Company, and no additional fee is charged as a result, including where this results in single occupancy.
  3. Where the accompanying guardian of a participant under the age of 18 cancels, that minor's participation is also cancelled unless another guardian is designated. In this case, the schedule in Article 3 also applies to the minor.

Article 9 (Method and Timing of Refunds)

  1. The Company will refund the payment, or take the measures necessary to do so, within 3 business days from the date the cancellation is received (Article 18(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
  2. Where a participant paid through a payment gateway provider, the Company will, without delay, request that provider to suspend or cancel the charge.
  3. Where the Company delays a refund, it will pay delay damages for the period of delay at the statutory rate (15% per annum).
  4. After the Company completes the refund process, it may take an additional 5 to 30 days for the funds to actually be credited to the participant's account or card, depending on the processing procedures of the payment gateway provider and card issuer, which is beyond the Company's control.
  5. Refunds are processed using the same method used for payment.
  6. Refund amounts are calculated based on US dollars (USD). The Company is not liable for differences in the amount actually received due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Article 10 (Carryover to a Future Cohort)

This Program does not offer carryover to a future cohort. Cancellations are handled only through the refunds provided under Article 2 or Article 3.

Article 11 (How to Request Cancellation)

  1. Cancellation requests may be made by email (contact@kbridgeinternational.com) or telephone (+82 10-3307-9552).
  2. The time of cancellation is the point at which the Company confirms receipt and notifies the participant.
  3. Upon receiving a cancellation, the Company will send the participant a confirmation stating the applicable schedule tier, refund amount, and expected processing date.

Article 12 (Applicable Laws)

Matters not specified in this Policy are governed by the Framework Act on Consumers, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards. Where an applicable law is more favorable to the participant, that law prevails.

Article 13 (Language)

This Policy is provided in Korean and English. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation between the language versions, the Korean version will prevail.
